Description

The UPCité-University of Toronto Joint Research Funding 2025 is a prestigious grant supporting collaborative research between Université Paris Cité (France) and the University of Toronto (Canada). Open to all disciplines, this seed funding encourages innovative projects, including those exploring animation technologies, digital storytelling, or cultural heritage through animation. Running from September 2025 to February 2027, the program funds activities like workshops, researcher exchanges, and graduate student mobility to foster long-term partnerships. It emphasizes equity, diversity, and inclusion and aligns with Horizon Europe funding priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for animation researchers to collaborate internationally, gain exposure, and develop cutting-edge projects with institutional support from two leading universities.
