The One Young World Academy, in partnership with NATO, has launched a special online program titled “NATO and the Future of Global Security and Peace.” This academy series is designed to empower young leaders to understand and contribute to one of the most pressing global challenges: collective security in a changing world. The course explores NATO’s evolving mission, its role in responding to critical geopolitical turning points, and the opportunities for youth to shape peace and security. Participants will engage with NATO representatives and international security experts, learning how innovation, partnerships, and leadership can build a safer future.
Eligibility
The course is open to young people aged 18 to 35 who are nationals or residents of NATO Member or Partner countries. Eligible countries include a wide range across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, such as Albania, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, North Macedonia, Türkiye, the United States, and many more from the official NATO Member and Partner list.
Benefits
Participants benefit from direct access to NATO representatives and security professionals, providing valuable insights into current and emerging security challenges. On completion, learners receive a verified digital certificate from One Young World Academy, which can be showcased on social media and CVs. The program is fully online, free of charge, and designed to accommodate the busy schedules of young leaders. It consists of two modules of 20–25 minutes each, including interactive quizzes to test knowledge and strengthen understanding.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online before the 14 November 2025 deadline. Interested participants should complete the application form provided by One Young World Academy. After registration, course materials will be released on 24 November 2025, giving successful applicants immediate access to the modules.
