Bangladesh is an Agricultural country. The economy of Bangladesh is mainly governed by agriculture. The productivity of which can be governed by beekeeping (apiculture). Development interventions productivity, introducing each crops and developing other income generating activities all of which an be provided or supported by indigenous species of Apis ceana beekeeping. Further, in remote and isolated areas, and where the cash economy is poorly developed, interventions to be successful – must be based on a minimum of external imparts, physical support, and capital outlay, the exact condition for beekeeping with our endogenous APis cerana bees.
Beekeeping offers a particularly useful possibility for poor and landless for farmers to gain income as it requires minimal start up investment, can be carried out in a small space close to the house, and generally yields profits within the 1st year of operation. Bees provides honey, wax, propels, royal jelly, beeswax, and bee venom for home use and sale. In addition to the direct income form bee products, beekeeping generates off-farm employment opportunities in many fields including hive conpenting, honey trading, renting and hiring of bee colonies for pollination, and bee based micro-enterprise. Beekeeping also supports agricultural production, forestry, and maintenance of biodiversity and natural resources through pollination service. But There are many factors that need to be address so that farmers and others can make the most of the potential of beekeeping to provide income for families and communities and to contributes to rural development in general. on the other hand, there are good indications that there has been a marked decline in the diversity and abundance of pollinators as a result indiscriminate pesticides use, land use change, and the factors, and that this is having on advance impact on natural pollination, agricultural productivities and maintenance of biodiversity.
