Eligibility

The fellowship is open to Ghanaian media professionals with a focus on international reporting. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Target Audience: Journalists (print, broadcast, digital) and content creators producing analytical pieces on global affairs, particularly China-Africa relations, business, or development.
  • Geographic Scope: Ghanaian residents.
  • Age Restrictions: No specific age limit, but mid-career professionals are prioritized.
  • Skills/Experience: A portfolio showcasing relevant work (articles, broadcasts, or multimedia content). Early-career journalists with strong potential are also encouraged to apply.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is not required.
