AMWAJ Media Fellowship for Early-Career Journalists (2nd Call)

Description

The AMWAJ Media Fellowship empowers early-career journalists to report on sustainability, climate change, and the circular economy in the Mediterranean region. Running from October 2025 to February 2026, this fully funded program offers hands-on mentorship, cross-border networking, and a platform to publish stories in AMWAJ’s “Tayyarat” sectionREVOLVE magazine, and other partner outlets. Applicants with multimedia storytelling skills (e.g., video, podcasts) are especially encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open to journalists from the following countries: Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, and Türkiye. Candidates must have less than 5 years of professional journalism experience and a strong interest in environmental or sustainability reporting.
