Animation Liberate For Organize (ALO) was founded in 1997 to drive socio-economic and cultural changes for underprivileged groups, particularly those who are physically and intellectually disabled in Bangladesh.

We prioritize our organizational values to advocate for the rights, careers, and skills of underprivileged children and youth. ALO boasts a strong management team committed to supporting disadvantaged communities and facilitating significant positive organizational changes.

As a growing organization, ALO envisions a brighter future for Bangladesh and seeks support from all. We express our gratitude to Allah and to all those whose work and donations made this possible.

Animation Liberate For Organize (ALO) has been dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized communities in the Jashore District since 1997. As a non-political, non-profit, rights-based NGO, ALO focuses on enhancing socio-economic conditions and advocating for the rights of disadvantaged groups, particularly women and children. Our mission is to promote national development through innovative services that bring sustainable impact and enhance the quality of life for our beneficiaries.

With over eight years of experience in community service, ALO specializes in designing, planning, managing, and implementing interventions that foster positive change.

ALO has fostered strong relationships with local and national government officials, as well as national and international donors, earning a commendable reputation within the community.

Since May 1997, Animation Liberate For Organization (ALO) was formed in Jashore District as a non-government, non-political, non-profitable voluntary organization for socio-economic development, women empowerment, and supporting disadvantaged people, along with building a brighter future for Bangladesh.

Goal:

The main goal of the organization is to promote the socioeconomic and human development of the poor and vulnerable people, emphasizing women, children, and youth to link them with the mainstream of development.

Vision:

To establish poor and vulnerable people, especially women, children, and youth in society, empowering them to live in peace and justice and uphold democratic values.

Mission:

To establish the poor and vulnerable people, especially women, youth, and children, in society by making them capable, self-sufficient, self-governed, and self-initiators through capacity building, institution building, capital development, utilization of local resources, and implementing problem-solving programs with skilled, trained, and experienced staff.

Objectives:

  • Mobilize and organize the disadvantaged people through information, education, awareness, and consciousness-raising about their status, allowing them to participate in various development programs to improve their livelihood.
  • Provide and organize need-based and planned training/orientation/workshops for community leaders and other stakeholders on a wide range of development services.
  • Play the role of mediating, counseling, and educating donors, government, and other stakeholders to bring positive change in development strategy and policy.
  • Provide technical assistance for capacity building, volunteerism, and sustainable development to all stakeholders.
  • Take initiatives to develop a strong network among different organizations for sharing ideas, experiences, and views on sustainable health and development sectors to maximize resource utilization and avoid service duplication.
  • Provide assistance for functional and non-functional child education, health, nutrition, sanitation, credit, legal aid, income generation, and employment skill development training programs to improve the quality of life for the underserved and deprived populations.
  • Promote the exchange of information, ideas, views, facilities, and expertise among development organizations, activities, and institutions.

Targeted People

The target beneficiaries of ALO are the poorest communities living below the poverty level, oppressed, disadvantaged, and underprivileged in the society. These include destitute women and children, the landless, small and marginal farmers, and other occupational groups who are victims of hunger, malnutrition, social injustice, and natural calamities.
